Perplexity just released Comet (Link), which is their AI enabled browser.

The Comet browser bakes Perplexity’s AI assistant right into the sidebar, so you can chat with any page, highlight text for instant explanations, and run multi‑step agent‑style tasks (summaries, comparisons, form‑filling, bookings, etc.) without leaving the tab.

Since many of the AI labs are pushing in this direction of releasing web browsers, I thought it would be helpful for us to go through examples on how AI x Web Browsers can accelerate productivity in finance workflows.
